Avera seeks a visionary Vice President of Procurement and Contracting to shape enterprise-wide sourcing, contracting and supplier governance. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive cost efficiency, and ensure compliant, high-quality partnerships across clinical and non-clinical domains.

You will oversee digital transformation, set standards, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and patient care. Relocation assistance is provided for this VP role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Preferred: Master's in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field; JD.
• 4-6 years experience in negotiations, contracting, sourcing, vendor management.
• 10+ years experience in leadership.

Aufgaben

• Leads all contracting processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Fosters cross-functional collaboration with clinical, legal, compliance, risk, finance, and operations leaders.
• Drive standardization and utilization initiatives to reduce variation and improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and develop internal procurement policies.
• Lead digital transformation by implementing procurement technologies, automation and analytics tools.
• Establish supplier performance governance with KPIs and audits.
• Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives and direct negotiations for products/services.
• Conduct market intelligence on pricing trends and supply chain risks.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with focus on cost savings and quality.
• Interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining staff; manage performance.
