Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Category Manager to develop and execute category sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships within the enterprise procurement model.

You will lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and align with clinical, operational, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, value-driven solutions. The role requires collaboration and adherence to enterprise standards and processes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in sourcing, procurement, contracting, or category management.
• Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies across assigned categories.
• Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and contract execution within standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and drive value-based solutions.
• Own supplier relationships and monitor performance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to contracts and enterprise standards in all decisions.
