Job summary

Goldman Sachs' Global Banking & Markets Private Operations Organization is seeking dedicated, analytical professionals to join our team in New York.

Global Change Managers act as project or program managers on high-priority initiatives across the division, partnering with front-to-back Operations, Deal Execution, Engineering and other stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver robust solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in business analysis, project or program management with finance industry experience.
• Strong PM skills across scoping, planning, risk/issue management and delivery.
• Proven cross-functional delivery with on-time, on-budget results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Extensive leadership demonstrated in large-scale programs.
• Ability to influence stakeholders outside direct control.
• Strategic thinker linking issues to costs, risk and processes.
• Hands-on coaching to reach high-performance levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-divisional initiatives with product, design, engineering and operations teams.
• Articulate how projects fit into program strategy and firm goals.
• Identify, report and elevate project risks to senior partners; oversee remediation.
• Provide governance updates on progress, timelines and budgets with GBM leadership.
• Remove impediments at program level through stakeholder sponsorship.
• Collaborate with product owners to shape strategic roadmap and backlog.
• Define QA/testing approaches; coach teams on best practices and migrations.
