Job summary

Landing Point, a leading independent investment manager, seeks a Vice President for the Secondary Data Strategy team in New York. You will drive analytics, AI, and automation across the private markets secondaries platform, shaping data products and governance for critical investment data.

You will partner with investment teams, technology, and operations to define data standards, build AI-enabled pipelines, and oversee extraction initiatives while focusing on responsible AI and scalable data

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years of experience in analytics, data products, BI, or financial data strategy.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to unstructured document and data extraction.
• Understanding of large language models and generative AI.
• Ability to design and oversee AI-enabled data pipelines and automation workflows.
• Awareness of responsible/governed AI practices.
• Private markets or secondaries domain knowledge is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CapIQ, PitchBook, Preqin, and Bloomberg.
• Working knowledge of VBA, SQL, and/or Python.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analytics and data product agenda for the Secondary Data Strategy workstream.
• Design and enhance the intelligence layer supporting secondary investment data.
• Drive AI- and automation-enabled data extraction initiatives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of client and RFP datasets.
• Partner cross-functionally with investment teams, product specialists, technology, data management, and operations.
• Help define data standards, governance expectations, and quality controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting frameworks and automate analytical processes.
• Contribute subject matter expertise on secondary market data structures and reporting needs.
