J.P. Morgan Asset Management seeks a Vice President for the Private Equity Group’s New York office to source, underwrite and execute private equity secondary investments with a GP-led focus.

The role contributes to the broader PEG platform and participates in global initiatives with a senior, collaborative team. The team manages approximately $41 billion and operates from New York, London, Hong Kong, Palm Beach and Mumbai, focusing on buyout, venture capital and growth equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, including secondary investing experience (GP-led and LP preferred).
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and high professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of private equity secondary investments with GP-led focus.
• Manage all aspects of transactions: sourcing, diligence, approval, negotiation and execution.
• Represent the PEG in the investment community at meetings, conferences and events.
• Train Associates and Analysts across the investment life cycle.
• Support business development and fundraising efforts for the secondary strategy.
