Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Private Equity Group in New York is seeking a Vice President to source, underwrite and execute private equity secondary investments, with a focus on GP-led opportunities, and contribute to the PEG platform.

You will manage all aspects of transactions, engage with the investment community, and mentor junior team members, shaping strategy across primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, including multiple years of private equity secondary investing experience (GP-led and LP experience preferred).
• Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Play a leading role in sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of private equity secondary investments, with a focus on GP-led opportunities.
• Manage all aspects of transactions, including deal sourcing, diligence, approval, negotiation and execution
• Represent the PEG in the investment community at annual meetings, conferences, and other events
• Train Associates and Analysts throughout the entire investment life cycle
• Support business development and fundraising efforts involving the secondary investment strategy
