Job summary

DataXstream seeks a visionary VP of Presales Engineering to lead and scale a world-class presales team. You will champion SAP Order Management across ECC and S/4HANA, embed AI into demonstrations, and align with Sales, Product, and Marketing to accelerate the sales cycle.

The role reports to the SVP of Sales, NA, with global responsibility, requiring a track record of building high-performing presales teams and a strategic view on AI-driven solutioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in presales/solution engineering or presales consulting.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing presales/solution engineering teams.
• Deep SAP experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Proven ability to translate complex enterprise software into business value for technical/executive audiences.
• Experience integrating AI/GenAI into sales, presales, or product workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale the presales engineering organization with formal structure and career paths.
• Own the technical win: guide tailored demonstrations, PoCs, and architectures that articulate DataXstream's value.
• Drive AI integration into presales—embedding AI into demos, messaging, and solutioning.
• Position SAP Order Management capabilities for SAP ECC and S/4HANA across current and migrating landscapes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing to enable GTM, recurrent assets, and playbooks.
• Represent the field with Product Management and Marketing to capture feedback and inform the roadmap.
