We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Solution Engineer with deep expertise in SAP and Order Management Systems to serve as a technical and functional leader in our pre‑sales cycle. The ideal candidate blends strong SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) functional knowledge with hands‑on command of modern SAP cloud architecture — including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Business Data Cloud (BDC), and CX — and a passion for AI‑driven storytelling. In this role, you will design, build, and deliver compelling demonstrations of OMS+ and SAP‑based solutions that turn prospect requirements into persona‑driven, value‑focused narratives. You will leverage AI copilots such as SAP Joule and Claude AI to craft intelligent, workflow‑rich demo experiences that resonate with both technical and business audiences. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with prospects’ SAP functional and technical teams, our sales and product organizations, and marketing to drive successful customer engagements and ensure our solutions align tightly with each customer’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrations and Storytelling

• Lead requirements‑gathering sessions with prospects and translate what you learn into value‑driven stories and persona‑based functional demonstrations of OMS+ and SAP solutions.
• Design and deliver engaging, tailored demonstrations that showcase OMS+ and SAP capabilities against each customer’s specific challenges, industry, and desired outcomes.
• Build AI‑enhanced demo experiences that integrate SAP Joule and Claude AI to illustrate intelligent, AI‑generated workflows and next‑generation user experiences within the solution.
• Create compelling presentations that communicate the value proposition of OMS+ and SAP to diverse audiences, including technical architects, functional business users, and executive decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to customize demos and presentations that directly address prospect objectives.

Functional and Architectural Expertise

• Maintain deep functional expertise in SAP SD and OMS+, staying current on the latest features, releases, and industry best practices.
• Serve as a functional and architectural advisor during the pre‑sales cycle, offering innovative solutions to prospect challenges using OMS+, SAP SD, BTP, BDC, and related SAP cloud technologies.
• Advise on SAP ecosystem and cloud architecture, helping prospects understand how OMS+ integrates within BTP, BDC, and broader SAP landscapes.
• Relay customer feedback to the development team, contributing to product improvement and ensuring solutions remain aligned with market and customer needs.

Customer Engagement and Trusted Advisory

• Work closely with prospects’ SAP functional and technical experts to understand their business processes, architecture, and requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders — IT teams, business users, and decision‑makers — positioning yourself as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.
• Support pre‑sales activities by responding to technical and functional queries and providing expert guidance during the sales process.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

• Identify opportunities to optimize and innovate within customer engagements and internal pre‑sales practices, including new applications of AI in demonstrations.
• Stay abreast of emerging SAP technologies (BTP, BDC, Joule, CX), AI trends, and industry developments to keep our solutions and demos at the forefront of the market.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Solution Engineer, Presales Consultant, or similar SAP‑focused role.
• Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience, with strong functional expertise in Sales & Distribution (SD).
• SAP, BTP, and/or CX presales experience.
• Expert understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Business Data Cloud (BDC), and related SAP cloud architectures.
• Working knowledge of Order Management Systems.
• Demonstrated creativity in translating prospect requirements into value‑driven stories and persona‑based functional demonstrations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Implementation, as well as external SAP functional and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI‑driven demonstrations using SAP Joule.
• Hands‑on experience using Claude AI and integrating AI‑generated workflows and experiences into product demonstrations.
• Background in SAP ecosystem and enterprise architecture.
• Retail & Wholesale industry experience.
• Experience acting as a trusted advisor to prospect and customer SAP teams.
• Relevant SAP certifications in SD, BTP, or CX.
