Job summary

talisman is seeking a Vice President of Project Finance to lead the financing of utility-scale renewable energy projects from initial capital outreach through financial close. This senior, hands-on role combines strong transaction judgment with a closer’s mentality, owning the full financing lifecycle and negotiating with capital providers.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, you will manage a dedicated Associate and drive multiple complex transactions to close while shaping the project

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in renewable energy project finance or related field.
• Experience leading complex transactions through financial close.
• Experience with tax equity and/or project debt in U.S. renewables.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the full transaction lifecycle from strategy to closing for utility-scale financings.
• Lead tax equity, debt and other project-level capital transactions across a pipeline.
• Make financing structure, risk, and execution strategy decisions.
• Coordinate with development, legal, tax, accounting, engineering and construction teams.
• Manage external counsel and transaction advisors; oversee Associate.
