Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a results-driven credit professional to analyze financial statements, assess risk, and structure loans for middle-market clients.

You’ll prepare comprehensive credit packages, forecast cash flows, and monitor covenant compliance while collaborating with Relationship Managers and loan staff. Ideal candidates have a accounting/finance background, strong quantitative skills, and knowledge of lending regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field; related work experience acceptable.
• Proficient in Financial Accounting.
• Strong understanding of lending, cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
• Regulatory knowledge including Regulation Z, BSA/AML, CRA, HMDA, RESPA, etc.
• Excellent communication and analytical writing skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates/structures lower complexity credit requests including cash flow lending, asset-based lending, term loans, and commercial real estate loans.
• Performs independent credit analysis of existing requests including financial statement analysis and third-party reports.
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages and presentations detailing analysis, risk, and loan structure.
