Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President Engineer to lead the Platform Identity Engineering team, building always-on identity services and governance across the firm. You will blend software engineering with SRE, owning reliability and driving incident response, design reviews, and cross-team mentorship.

The role requires leading large-scale production services, influencing best practices in AI-assisted development, security, and observability while partnering with security and platform teams

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate identity platform services and APIs across the portfolio, from architecture through production.
Lead initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics and service level objectives.
Collaborate to identify service level indicators and establish objectives and error budgets with stakeholders.
Build and maintain CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment tooling with scale and resilience.
Lead resiliency design reviews and mentor other engineers across teams.
