Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on Java/J2EE and Python with Spring Boot and REST APIs
• AWS platform/infrastructure engineering experience
• Kubernetes in high-availability environments experience
• Terraform and IaC with secure provisioning practices
• Observability/APM tooling experience (Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace)
• Testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito) and performance testing (JMeter/BlazeMeter)
• Domain-driven design, microservices, resiliency patterns
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and safe adoption guidance
• Strong focus on secure, scalable, and compliant delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and operation of cloud platform capabilities at scale
• Build and maintain secure Java services and REST APIs
• Implement IaC with Terraform and policy controls
• Support safe release practices for high-availability services
• Improve reliability with automation and runbooks
• Apply SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs and incident management
• Use observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot production
• Deliver CI/CD with enterprise pipelines and ownership
• Prototype AI-enabled workflows and translate requirements into designs
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across cybersecurity and compliance
