Qualifications

• 10+ years in philanthropy, foundation relations, institutional fundraising, nonprofit development, strategic partnerships, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting public health, healthcare, research, transplantation, technology, or scientific organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define UNOS' long-term philanthropic strategy and operating framework.
• Lead partnerships with foundations and institutional funders.
• Govern donor screening, funding acceptance, and risk management frameworks.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on philanthropy strategy and trends.
• Develop governance standards for donor influence and ethical philanthropy.
• Translate organizational priorities into philanthropic investment opportunities.
