Job summary

QualiFi - Borrow I Build I Believe is seeking an accomplished executive to lead our Payment Processing function. The VP will oversee operations, technology, compliance, vendor relations, fraud prevention, and customer service to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions.

The role partners with CEO/COO, finance, risk, and client teams to drive business growth, operational excellence, and innovative payment programs while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in payment processing, banking operations, fintech, or financial services.
• Minimum 3-5 years of senior leadership experience managing payment operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute payment processing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify emerging payment technologies and industry trends.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve payment efficiency and customer experience.
• Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Coach and develop sales leaders and account executives.
• Partner to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Client Success teams to deliver payment solutions.
• Build executive relationships with clients, financial institutions, and partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and strategic alliances.
• Participate in complex sales presentations and contract negotiations.
• Monitor KPIs, forecasting, and customer acquisition/retention.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and product capabilities for high-risk clients.
• Develop partnerships with financial institutions and networks to expand reach.
