Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President for Payments Rails Product Delivery Strategy & Governance in the Jersey City area. You will translate business priorities into strategic narratives and guide modernization, AI innovation, and product development lifecycle.

You will synthesize market trends, internal capabilities, and customer needs to inform investment governance and cross-functional roadmaps, partnering with Product, Technology, Finance, and Operations to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strategic narrative for Payments modernization for MD and C-suite audiences.
• Leads strategic analysis on market modernization trends, portfolio planning, and expansion opportunities.
• Drives execution of strategic programs — cross-functional dependencies, milestone tracking, and senior stakeholder communication.
• Supports AI Centre of Excellence — identifying AI/ML use cases across Payments, building business cases, coordinating with AI governance teams.
• Owns and maintains the investment governance framework — evaluating business cases, investment spend, tracking benefits.
• Builds frameworks to track strategic metrics, competitive positioning, platform adoption, and modernization velocity.
• Performs market research, benchmarking, and scenario analysis to inform the Payments roadmap.
• Leads quarterly planning — roadmap synthesis and investment planning.
• Develops product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers.
• Manages discovery efforts to identify customer solutions for the roadmap.
• Tracks key product metrics such as cost, features, risk posture, and reliability.
