Job summary

Chevron Federal Credit Union seeks a seasoned leader to provide coordination and oversight for the Payment Services department. The role leads staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with IT and back-office teams to maintain efficient daily transaction processing.

The position emphasizes training, risk reduction, and project management across payment platforms, with opportunities to drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration within the credit union.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, assistance, and training to Payment Services staff, reviewing their work as needed and providing regular feedback to SVP, Controller.
• Continuously monitor process flow to ensure proper controls are in place and are followed to minimize risk to the Credit Union.
• Foster an environment of ongoing training and cross-training to ensure the department is always ready to process daily transaction volumes within regulatory requirements.
• Keep apprised of and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to electronic payment systems.
• Manage Payment Services related special projects including financial analysis for new/existing products and services and process review.
• Work independently on broad assignments and plans and perform with little or no guidance on professional aspects of the work.
• Serve as liaison between front and back office, assisting Learning & Organizational Development with staff training.
• Work with Information Systems and Technology department to improve Payment Services process efficiency and availability of related information to CFCU staff.
• Other duties as assigned
