Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience in the field
• 8+ years of leadership experience, with 3–5 years managing other leaders or multi-department teams
• Proven record of strategic decision-making, organizational alignment, and executive-level collaboration
• Experience overseeing large-scale initiatives or enterprise-wide projects

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic management, growth, and performance of card portfolios, ensuring competitive offerings and enhanced member engagement
• Lead design and operation of revenue assurance and fraud prevention programs to detect, prevent, and resolve card and payment issues
• Develop and execute a comprehensive payments strategy aligning with the credit union’s objectives; oversee ACH, wire transfers, online bill pay, mobile deposit, check processing, and ATM image capture
• Establish and implement strategic initiatives for current and emerging payment channels to stay competitive
• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and network guidelines with rigorous monitoring in Cards and Payments
• Manage vendor and partner relationships, set performance standards, validate billing, and review contracts for competitiveness
• Provide strategic direction for card loyalty and rewards to optimize engagement and profitability
• Monitor and report key metrics on card usage, revenue, and member adoption to inform decisions
