Job summary

Apple Federal Credit Union is seeking an AVP of Payments in Fairfax, VA to lead the Payments department, including Card Services and Money Movement. You will oversee issuing and processing of cards, ACH, Wires, FedNow/RTP and non-fraud dispute resolution, ensuring efficient, compliant operations and strategic growth across member payments.

Qualifications include 10+ years in financial institutions, 5+ years in supervision, and experience with Symitar, PSCU/Velera, Visa, FedACH, wires, NACHA, and

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of financial institution experience, preferably in payments.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory management experience.
• Familiarity with Symitar (Jack Henry), PSCU/Velera, Visa, FedACH and wires, NACHA, and RTP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversees the Payments department operations, including Card Services and Money Movement.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand member utilization of payments functionality.
