Job description

Turn Market Insight into Strategic Solutions—and Strategic Solutions into Growth
Full-Time | Exempt | Virtual/Remote Environment | Up to 30% Travel
Reports to: SVP, Strategic Partnerships

Reverba Global is seeking a commercially driven, strategically minded Vice President, Partnerships to expand our client portfolio and grow high-value relationships across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and broader healthcare industries.

This is a growth-focused role—not a traditional account maintenance position. The VP, Partnerships will build relationships with prospective clients, uncover opportunities within select existing accounts, and develop integrated solutions spanning patient engagement, medical communications, strategy, and technology. Through strong industry knowledge, executive-level client engagement, and disciplined business development leadership, this individual will help Reverba increase revenue, diversify its client base, and introduce clients to new services and solutions.

The Opportunity

You will serve as both a business development leader and a trusted strategic advisor. Rather than simply responding to a brief, you will seek to understand the underlying business challenge, evaluate the broader marketplace and brand dynamics, and translate those insights into a compelling point of view and actionable solution.

Success in this position requires the ability to confidently engage senior client stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, identify whitespace, and convert opportunities into measurable incremental revenue across both new and existing client relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans that support Reverba’s growth and revenue objectives.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and establish Reverba as a trusted partner within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations.
  • Identify whitespace and expansion opportunities within select existing accounts, moving beyond account retention to generate meaningful organic growth.
  • Diagnose complex client and brand challenges and translate marketplace, organizational, and stakeholder insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Develop integrated solutions incorporating patient engagement, medical communications, strategy, and technology.
  • Engage confidently with VP-, SVP-, and executive-level clients, using strategic storytelling to communicate a clear point of view and persuasively present solutions.
  • Work closely with internal Client Partners, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to develop larger, more strategic programs.
  • Customize presentations, proposals, and client materials that clearly connect client needs to Reverba’s capabilities and solutions.
  • Manage the business development pipeline, maintain accurate CRM activity, and provide weekly pipeline updates to Reverba’s leadership team.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, track performance against goals, and meet or exceed new business development targets.
  • Monitor competitive and industry developments and use those insights to inform positioning, opportunity development, and client conversations.
  • Establish relationships with industry influencers, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent Reverba at trade association meetings, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Manage business development expenditures responsibly and complete related administrative and expense-reporting requirements.
  • Model Reverba’s values in every client, partner, and internal interaction.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
  • Approximately 10 or more years of progressive business development, strategic sales, partnerships, or client growth experience.
  • Deep experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare agency, medical communications, patient engagement, or related life sciences environment.
  • Demonstrated success securing new business and expanding existing client accounts within a service-based biopharmaceutical or healthcare organization.
  • A proven ability to identify whitespace, develop strategic recommendations, and convert opportunities into incremental revenue.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical brands, client organizations, industry dynamics, and the ways medical, patient engagement, marketing, and commercial stakeholders intersect.
  • The ability to move beyond executing a client brief to uncover what the client is ultimately trying to solve.
  • Strong strategic thinking and synthesis skills, with the ability to connect marketplace, client, brand, and stakeholder insights.
  • Executive-level presence and the confidence to lead complex conversations with senior client decision-makers.
  • Exceptional presentation and strategic storytelling capabilities, including the ability to develop a persuasive point of view and communicate it clearly.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A successful track record of developing and maintaining trusted, long-term professional relationships.
  • Strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • Experience with strategic planning, revenue forecasting, budgeting, pipeline management, and CRM systems.
  • The ability to influence and inspire clients, internal partners, and decision-makers without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • The ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 30%, including occasional overnight and international travel.
Why Join Reverba?

At Reverba, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play a highly visible role in shaping the company’s growth and diversification.
  • Partner directly with senior clients to address complex and meaningful healthcare business challenges.
  • Bring together patient engagement, medical communications, strategy, and technology to create differentiated solutions.
  • Collaborate with experienced Client Partners, Account Managers, strategists, and cross-functional experts.
  • Help transform strong client relationships into larger, more strategic partnerships.
  • Operate in a professional virtual environment while maintaining valuable in-person connections through client meetings, industry events, and program activities.
  • Join an organization that values collaboration, agility, integrity, and community.
