GRDA seeks the Vice President of Thermal Generation to provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and management for GRDA’s thermal generation operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective plant performance.

The role directs three generating units (~1,370 MW), maintenance, asset management, capital projects, and risk management, partnering with divisions across GRDA to drive continuous improvement and accountability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations or energy management is required.
• Progressive leadership experience in utility-scale thermal generation operations is preferred.
• Executive or senior management experience with plant safety, reliability, budgets, capital programs, and risk management is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for GRDA’s thermal generation operations, maintenance, engineering, asset management, and contracts.
• Direct safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of generation facilities.
• Oversee major outages, capital improvements, and procurement activities.
• Lead workforce development, training, and succession planning across divisions.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and GRDA policies.
