GRAND RIVER DAM AUTHORITY is seeking a Vice President of Thermal Generation to lead at the Grand River Energy Center in Chouteau, Oklahoma. This executive role oversees three generating units totaling ~1,370 MW and a workforce of ~150, driving safe, reliable, cost-effective operations aligned with GRDA’s strategic goals.

The role requires deep expertise in utility-scale power generation, asset management, and risk mitigation, with responsibility for budgets, capital programs, and performance

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations or energy management.
• Progressive leadership experience in utility-scale thermal generation operations preferred.
• Experience managing major outages and long-term service agreements preferred.

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for thermal generation operations, maintenance, and asset management.
• Direct safe, reliable, compliant operation and maintenance of generation facilities and budgets.
• Oversee major outages, capital projects, and external contracts with safety and compliance as priorities.

• Develop workforce through staffing, training, succession planning, and performance management.
