Job summary

CCSA is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Development to partner with the President & CEO to advance the philanthropic strategy, build fundraising systems, and cultivate major donors and foundations. Remote within California, the role drives proposal development, donor communications, and cross-functional fundraising operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy, public affairs, nonprofit leadership, strategy, or related fields.
• Proven ability to develop and manage major donor and foundation fundraising programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive stakeholders.
• Experience translating strategy into compelling donor materials and investment cases.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and day-to-day fundraising operations in partnership with the President & CEO.
• Develop and manage the prospect pipeline, support major donor and foundation fundraising, and coordinate fundraising activity across teams.
• Prepare proposals, donor communications, and customized donor materials; translate organizational priorities into funding opportunities.
• Establish and maintain fundraising calendars, donor databases, and pipeline reviews; ensure accountability and execution.
