Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a VP, Software Development Manager to provide technical and organizational leadership for the advisor digital platform, partnering with Business, Product, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, secure digital experiences for advisors and affiliated institutions.

You will lead multiple engineering teams across advisor-facing apps, cloud-based platforms, and enterprise integrations, driving engineering excellence, modernization, and talent development to support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, or enterprise technology delivery.
10+ years of experience leading engineering teams, technology organizations, or large-scale technology initiatives.
10+ years of experience within financial services, wealth management, brokerage, banking, or another regulated industry.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-based, distributed, and enterprise-scale technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple software development teams across various product and technology value streams.
Develop, mentor, and support engineering talent while fostering a high-performing team culture.
Partner with Product, Business, and Technology leaders to establish priorities, align roadmaps, and deliver strategic initiatives.
Provide leadership for secure, scalable cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures and engineering standards.
