Role Summary

The VP of Sales will lead senior sales professionals, focusing on new business development, expanding our customer base, and increasing revenue. You will oversee, support, and guide your team to excel in prospecting, nurturing leads, and closing deals, with significant autonomy to manage and coach.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and mentor senior sales professionals to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  2. Manage sales efforts related to new client acquisition and team performance.
  3. Remove obstacles to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions.
  5. Expand networks and explore untapped markets.
  6. Guide the team in executing new business strategies.
  7. Provide feedback to improve team performance and adherence to company guidelines.
  8. Foster a high-performing sales culture focused on client acquisition.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience selling professional IT or software services.
  2. Strong experience in selling technology consulting and services, especially as a hunter of new logos.
  3. 5+ years of leadership experience in sales.
  4. Deep industry knowledge, including key players, strategies, and business models.
  5. Understanding of sub-verticals, challenges, and trends in technology consulting.
  6. Strategic, creative, and analytical sales approach.
  7. Focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  8. Experience in a direct competitor is valuable.
