Position Overview
The VP of Sale will play a pivotal role in shaping TEC’s future, combining strategic sales leadership with operational oversight to ensure scalability and efficiency. This individual will drive sales growth, optimize processes, and develop a results-driven team while maintaining TEC’s strong market presence and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and skills to succeed
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to maximize results
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, training, and performance optimization
- Maintain a strong understanding of sales systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Operational & General Management
- Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
- Develop and implement scalable processes and systems to support TEC’s continued growth
- Work closely with project managers and inside sales coordinators to streamline workflows and enhance the customer experience
- Support talent acquisition and retention by building and maintaining a high-performing sales team
Customer & Market Expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and improve TEC’s competitive positioning
- Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand TEC’s industry footprint
Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment. Ideal candidate would have roofing industry sales leadership experience
- Strong operational acumen with a proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiency
- Experience managing diverse sales teams, including inside sales, project managers, and outside sales teams
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability is key
- Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in P&L management preferred
- Confident in independent decision-making and strategic execution to drive sales growth and operational success
