Position Summary

The VP - Sales handles direct sales responsibilities for national accounts. This role also assists with managing sales staff and customer service, as well as directing activity to ensure client satisfaction and profitability for the business.

This is a remote position, but the candidate must live in Georgia.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Define a sales force structure, oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs to motivate the team to meet sales targets.
  2. Assist sales staff with proposals and presentations for new business.
  3. Support sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
  4. Participate in sales and business planning, provide accurate sales forecasts.
  5. Develop strategies to achieve sales goals and implement sales policies.
  6. Coordinate communications, support sales and customer service objectives, and manage organizational expenditures.
  7. Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the sales team to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications / Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field.
  2. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  3. 10+ years of progressive sales and customer service experience.
  4. 8+ years in a leadership role.
  5. Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and internationally.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Internet applications.
  7. Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
  10. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  11. Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong reporting skills.
