Job Summary

The Vice President of Sales will lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our organization. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and fostering a high-performance culture within the sales department. Collaboration with marketing, product development, finance, and executive leadership is essential to align sales strategies with business goals.

The VP of Sales will mentor and guide sales managers and teams, instilling best practices and motivating the team to exceed sales targets. This role involves analyzing sales data, generating insightful reports, and adapting strategies based on findings to maintain a competitive advantage.

Job Location

This is a remote opportunity; candidates need to live in the greater Atlanta area and be able to commute to our corporate office for meetings and events.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, key customer segments, and competitive positioning.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a dynamic sales team, fostering high performance and accountability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and capabilities.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a primary contact for high-value accounts.
  • Ensure the sales team delivers high customer service and satisfaction standards.

Sales Operations and Reporting

  • Oversee sales operations, ensuring efficient processes and tools support the team.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Position the company as a thought leader within the industry.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years in sales, with at least 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large sales teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement long-term plans successfully.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences and building lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 50%.
