Job summary

AKAM is seeking a Vice President, Management Operations for the New York portfolio. You will lead daily operations, oversee budgets, and drive client satisfaction while partnering with the SVP. This role supervises property management staff and interfaces with Boards, ownership groups, and residents.

You will implement SOPs, monitor capital projects, oversee compliance, and mentor teams to deliver exceptional service, safety, and financial performance across residential properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in residential property management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing condominium/cooperative portfolios preferred.
• Strong financial, operational, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Professional designations such as ARM®, CMCA®, or CPM® preferred, real estate license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management and operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, capital projects, and building operations for efficiency and safety.
• Ensure properties meet service standards for presentation, safety, and resident satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain SOPs across properties.
• Conduct regular check-ins with property managers, staff, and clients.
