Job summary

United Utility Services, LLC is seeking a strategic VP of Human Resources to lead the enterprise people strategy across its multistate operating companies.

This leader will build workforce readiness, strengthen leadership capability, and improve employee engagement while aligning HR practices with business goals. Reporting to the CAO, the VP will partner with leaders to establish scalable HR practices and consistent standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 10+ years leading an HR team.
• Experience in utility services, power delivery, construction, infrastructure, or related industry.
• Strong executive communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to translate business priorities into workforce strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise HR function across operating companies and geographic regions.
• Develop and execute annual and multiyear people strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with executive leadership on organization design, workforce costs, leadership effectiveness, and complex decisions.
• Oversee HR, benefits, and talent acquisition; drive onboarding and retention across multiple sites.
• Coach leaders on performance, labor relations, and risk management to ensure compliant operations across the portfolio.
