Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President of Human Resources to lead the enterprise people strategy across its operating companies. This leader will design workforce readiness, leadership development, and employee engagement programs to support safe, reliable operations.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will oversee HR, benefits, and Talent Acquisition, build scalable processes, manage multi-state compliance, and drive cost-effective programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 10 years leading an HR team at the division or enterprise level.
• Experience in utility services, power delivery, construction, infrastructure, or a related industry.
• Strong leadership across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition across operating companies.
• Develop and execute a company-wide people strategy aligning with business objectives and growth.
• Establish enterprise HR policies, governance, and service standards while accommodating local needs.
• Drive workforce planning, leadership development, and succession planning across a multistate workforce.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee wellbeing programs in partnership with Finance and leadership.
• Manage employee engagement, labor relations where applicable, and HR operations across sites.
• Partner with legal to ensure compliance and risk management; lead HR data and reporting initiatives.
