Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc is seeking a Director of Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR operations across our utilities locations, shaping labor relations, policy development, staffing, and workers’ compensation. This role sits on the HR Leadership Team and the Utilities Leadership Team as a strategic partner.

Responsibilities include directing employee relations, performance management, compensation policy, and succession planning while partnering with executive staff to align enterprise HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with emphasis on Human Resources.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience.
• SPHR or SHRM-SCP would be beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct HR operations and union contract negotiations; lead grievances and arbitration coordination.
• Partner with executive staff on employee relations, performance management, compensation, policy administration, and compliance.
• Drive enterprise HR processes: performance management, talent reviews, succession planning across the business unit.
• Assist hiring activity, diversity recruitment, and staffing initiatives; oversee field staff recruiting.
• Monitor workers’ compensation claims; coordinate with third-party administrator and manage budgets.
• Coordinate with VP-HR and area management on sensitive employment issues; interface with counsel; manage relocation policy.
