SportRx, a leading prescription eyewear company in San Diego, seeks an experienced Vice President of Operations to shape the next generation of our operations. You will own the end-to-end experience from order intake to delivery and returns, building scalable processes and a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate combines lab expertise with strong leadership, technology focus, and a passion for continuous improvement, partnering with the CEO and leadership team to drive efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in optical lab operations and Rx production workflows.
• Proven track record of building and coaching high-performance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve complex operations using process, data, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational experience from order intake to delivery and returns.
• Redesign workflows for speed, quality, and efficiency across the lab and fulfillment.
• Lead and develop the Operations team with accountability and continuous improvement culture.
• Invest in people through coaching, training, and clear expectations.
• Develop a best-in-class internal finishing lab with staffing, layout, and quality control.
• Build scalable systems, SOPs, KPIs, and reporting across operations.
