Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead ~100 hospitals through six Regional Directors, driving operating and financial results while advancing the Care Experience.

You will build a high-performing regional leadership team, establish a disciplined operating cadence, and collaborate with medical leaders to ensure clinical autonomy and exceptional patient care while supporting local teams and communities.

Qualifications

• Typically 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
• Experience leading senior multi-unit leaders and owning a P&L.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% to hospitals and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead six Regional Directors responsible for ~100 hospitals, setting clear expectations with compassion and respect.
• Translate enterprise priorities into regional and hospital operating plans and accountabilities.
• Establish a disciplined operating cadence with scorecards, reviews, field visits, and risk mitigation.
• Create consistent operating standards while allowing flexibility for market and clinical models.
• Identify barriers, share best practices, and ensure solutions are implemented and measured.
• Partner with medical leadership to align operations with high-quality care.
