Job summary

Companion Pet Partners, a multi-site veterinary hospital system, seeks a Senior Vice President of Operations to drive the operational performance, growth, and scalability of its hospital network.

This executive will own enterprise P&L, partner with Finance, People, and Facilities teams, oversee acquisitions integration, capital projects, and standardization across sites to deliver superior care and financial results.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing a large, geographically dispersed, multi-unit organization.
• Demonstrated responsibility for significant P&L ownership.
• Experience managing a network of multi-site veterinary medicine hospitals is preferred.
• Experience managing multi-site and complex healthcare organizations is required.
• Demonstrated ability to translate acquisition strategy into operational execution.
• Experience partnering effectively with CFO/Finance leadership.
• Comfortable presenting operating performance and investment recommendations to executive leadership and/or a Board.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating performance and P&L results for the entire veterinary hospital portfolio.
• Establish and execute annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance objectives.
• Sustain consistent operating standards while allowing appropriate flexibility for individual hospital markets and communities.
• Drive KPIs related to revenue, EBITDA, labor, productivity, client experience, patient volume, utilization, staffing, and operational efficiency.
