Job summary

Santa Rita Landscaping seeks an experienced VP of Operations to lead the Phoenix operations, build high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth while ensuring process discipline and safety.

You will own revenue, margins, forecasting, and KPIs, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and HR to hit company goals. A strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement defines this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Green Industry experience with significant operational leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multiple teams, branches, or profit centers.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance field execution with strategic and financial leadership.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold operational leaders and teams accountable for results.
• Own operational performance, including revenue, gross margin, overhead, forecasting, and KPIs.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention, quality, and service excellence.
• Develop leaders and build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure teams consistently follow company processes, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Allocate people, equipment, and resources to support operational and growth objectives.
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to achieve company goals.
