Job summary

CFM Materials LP, a joint venture of GE and Safran Aircraft Engines, seeks a senior operations leader to oversee global mechanics, logistics, and quality management. You will report to the CEO of CFMM and drive operational excellence across FAA-compliant processes, ensuring timely inbound/outbound shipments and data-driven performance insights.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years in aviation/Aircraft MRO leadership, with strong ERP/SAP experience, and a track record of

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, aftermarket parts distribution, or related industry

Responsibilities

  • Leads a staff of manager level leaders and multiple indirect reports across multiple global facilities.
  • Responsible for leading the logistics processes to ensure both inbound and outbound shipments are performed compliantly, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serves as a source of operations, technical and quality expertise regarding the verification of paperwork, aircraft engine component inspection and logistics processes in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Inspires, motivates, and empowers people to deliver organizational goals, while also delivering value back to employees.
  • Proven track record of building, training, and developing high performing teams.
  • Drives the development of analytical tools and reports to effectively manage company performance KPI's across the organization as it relates to overall business goals
  • Manages and ensures all global warehouses are following CFM Materials standardized processes.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement plans based upon the CFM Material's goals, objectives, and KPI's.
  • Promotes a strong safety culture throughout the organization by championing internal safety team.
  • Responsible for overall compliance with FAA, ASA-100, AC 00-56, ISO 9001 and company quality requirements.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

We support companies worldwide through warehouses and sales offices near DFW Airport (TX, USA), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cardiff (Wales), Hamburg (Germany) and Singapore. In addition to its core operation, the company also sells surplus inventories for CFM International and provides inventory for its parent companies' MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) network around the world
