Job summary

Diamond Mowers seeks a VP of Information Technology to lead strategy, governance, and performance across business systems, data, and infrastructure. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to translate business goals into scalable, secure technology that supports growth and operational excellence.

You will oversee ERP/MRP, CRM, analytics, and MES/OT initiatives, building a high-performing IT organization and managing key vendor relationships to drive value and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience leading ERP/MRP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology strategy.
• Experience managing third-party IT service providers and partners.

Job Title: VP of Information Technology

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Information Technology develops and executes the company’s technology strategy to strengthen business performance, cybersecurity, efficiency, and growth. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the executive leadership team, the VP leads business systems, data and analytics, infrastructure, manufacturing technology, and technology-enabled process improvement.

The VP leads a lean internal IT team and strategic technology partners, retaining accountability for technology performance, security, reliability, and business value. The successful candidate will be a business-oriented technology executive who translates company priorities into practical, scalable solutions that improve performance, decision-making, and the company’s ability to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Align technology priorities and investments with overall company objectives.
• Establish IT priorities, standards, governance, and annual budgets.
• Serve as the primary technology advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Ensure IT delivers reliable, effective, and scalable technology solutions.

Business Systems & Data

• Provide strategic ownership of ERP/MRP, CRM, and other core business applications.
• Ensure systems effectively support Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions.
• Lead efforts to integrate systems and reduce manual exchange of information.
• Establish a company-wide approach to data, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to use technology to improve business processes and decision-making.

Cybersecurity & Technology Infrastructure

• Maintain overall accountability for the company's cybersecurity, technology risk, and business continuity.
• Ensure reliable and secure infrastructure, cloud services, networks, systems, and user technology.
• Lead the relationship with the company's third-party IT provider and establish clear accountability for service delivery.
• Oversee outsourced cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, backup, disaster recovery, and specialized technical services.
• Ensure appropriate technology standards, access controls, policies, and security practices are in place.

Manufacturing Technology & Innovation

• Provide strategic leadership for the intersection of IT and manufacturing technology.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering on MES, plant connectivity, machine data, automation, and related technologies.
• Ensure manufacturing technology is appropriately integrated with enterprise systems.
• Establish appropriate IT architecture and cybersecurity standards for manufacturing environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve productivity, scalability, and competitiveness.

People & Business Partnership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing internal IT organization.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, priorities, and accountability within the IT team.
• Develop internal talent and create a culture of service, ownership, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
• Build strong relationships with leaders across Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR.
• Effectively manage third-party technology partners and ensure external resources operate as an extension of the internal IT organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading business systems, ERP/MRP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology strategy.
• Experience managing third-party IT service providers and technology partners.
• Experience working with manufacturing operations, plant systems, MES, OT, or industrial technology preferred.
• Strong understanding of data, analytics, business intelligence, and system integration.
• Experience managing technology budgets and significant technology initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Must be action oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
