Job summary

TriVista Recruitment is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Information Technology to lead a unified technology organization in a hybrid Chicago-area setting. The role reports to the CEO and oversees infrastructure, applications, ERP/business systems, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery across multiple sites.

You will develop a multi-year IT strategy tied to operating and financial priorities, drive system upgrades, strengthen data security, and guide technology due diligence

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with a track record of delivering results.
• Experience across infrastructure, applications, ERP/business systems, cybersecurity, vendors, and IT service delivery.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing, distribution, packaging, or similarly complex operating environments.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change and unify fragmented technology functions.
• Strong business and financial acumen; ability to connect technology investments to outcomes.

Position: Vice President of Information Technology

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Compensation: $225,000–$270,000 base salary plus bonus

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Daily office attendance is not expected

• Experience across infrastructure, applications, ERP/business systems, cybersecurity, vendors, and IT service delivery.
• Experience supporting a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, packaging, or similarly complex operating environment.
• A record of leading organizational change and bringing fragmented technology functions together.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect technology investments to measurable results.
• Experience with acquisitions, systems integration, carve-outs, or private equity-backed organizations is strongly preferred.
• A practical, collaborative leadership style and the credibility to work with executives, plant leaders, and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
