Job summary

Palomar Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to drive talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits across our multi‑site health system in California. You will shape strategy, guide a management team, and align HR services with our strategic plan while controlling costs.

Qualified candidates will have 8–10 years in HR with at least 5 years in HR management, experience in a union environment, and a CA emphasis.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field required.
• Minimum experience: 8–10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in an HR management role.
• Experience in a multi-site, complex healthcare system and in a union environment preferred CA union experience.
• Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, or CHCR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR division including talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits.
• Develop and execute strategies that support Palomar Health's plan and vision.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing HR leadership team; manage expenses and drive cost efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety, engagement, and superior customer service across the organization.
