Job summary

Accordant Capital seeks a strategic VP of Finance to partner with the President and CEO across Accordant Capital, MedPro Disposal, and MP1 Solutions. The role leads budgeting, FP&A, and fiduciary duties for multiple entities, translating numbers into decisive actions in a founder-led, PE-backed environment.

Responsibilities span consolidation, cash management, internal controls, and close processes while aligning with operational leaders to enable growth and performance visibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior leadership roles (VP/Director/CFO-track) in a small or PE-backed company.
• Operational exposure beyond finance in delivery, support, and/or operations.
• Experience leading finance across multiple entities or operating companies with intercompany accounting and consolidations.
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting; proficiency in ERP/Accounting software and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycle through Controller and finance team; manage general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll, and month-end close.
• Build and own financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, and consolidated reporting as the finance function expands across multiple companies.
• Own cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and capital planning.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, commentary, and analysis to the President/CEO and ownership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A; drive driver-based models and scenario planning.
• Manage and mentor the finance function and partner with operations and sales leadership to translate financial insight into decisions.
• Oversee finance systems strategy (ERP/FP&A tooling) and drive scalable improvements across the company.
