Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a visionary Vice President of Planning to lead the enterprise planning organization, spanning Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and related customer programs. This role partners with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Distribution, Product Management, Finance, and Customer Experience to ensure product availability and optimized inventory across the network.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, planning, operations, or inventory management.
• Experience leading Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management within a complex multi-site enterprise.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and cost management.
• Experience implementing advanced planning systems and analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence across functions, and drive execution at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise planning strategy to support growth, service, and financial goals.
• Oversee Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and related programs.
• Establish governance, processes, and metrics for accountability across planning functions.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making across planning teams.
• Manage enterprise fill rate performance and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Champion analytics and digital transformation with KPI dashboards and reporting.
