Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Vice President of Operations to drive growth in the power generation EPC business. You will lead the integration of people, processes, technology and execution strategies to deliver complex projects safely, efficiently and profitably from planning through startup.

As a member of the executive team, you will align cross-functional efforts, oversee safety programs, manage contracts, and mentor leaders while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related major.
• 15 years of construction industry experience and knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and management.
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate administration functions and performance.
• Provide senior leadership to administrative directions and Directors.
• Develop long-range plans and advise on regulatory impacts.
• Analyze budgets, proposals and trends to support executives.
• Improve policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Assess outsourcing options to optimize services and cost.
• Advise on contracts and financial viability with CFO.
• Lead safety policies and incident prevention.
• Participate in executive meetings and business continuity planning.
• Travel as required up to 40%.
