Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks a visionary VP, Head of Engineering Practice to drive innovation across engineering initiatives, shared services, and foundational frameworks.

This hybrid role offers in-office work three days a week in our Jersey City or Raleigh offices, with option for remote work and travel to Northeast offices. You will lead architecture decisions, promote DevOps adoption, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product and business leaders on AI-enabled solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 15+ years in software engineering with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams and delivering enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy for initiatives and shared services.
• Facilitate Engineering Practice meetings with broad representation across teams.
• Champion engineering excellence and modern development practices across the organization.
