Job summary

Vizient seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead the enterprise engineering organization powering our next-generation healthcare technology products. This executive will shape strategy, drive platform investments, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native platforms for product teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS, Eng, IT; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years in software engineering with executive leadership.
• Experience leading Directors/Managers and scaling enterprise platforms.
• Azure or cloud-native architectures experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization with accountability and innovation.
• Define and execute engineering strategy for enterprise platform capabilities (data, AI, security, identity).
• Partner with Platform Product Management to align roadmaps and investments.
• Establish DevSecOps, quality engineering, automation, observability, and SRE practices.
