Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead the enterprise platform and cloud-native capabilities powering next-generation healthcare technology products.

You will shape engineering strategy, manage a large organization, and drive security, scalability, and developer productivity across product teams. You will collaborate with Architecture, Technology Delivery, Security, and Product teams to foster technical excellence, adopt DevSecOps, and measure outcomes aligned to business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field; advanced degree preferred.
15+ years in software engineering with executive leadership experience.
Proven track record leading large, multi-level engineering orgs and scaling platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization with accountability and continuous improvement.
Define and execute strategy for enterprise platform capabilities (data, AI, security, identity, shared services).
Partner with product management to align roadmaps and investments; establish modern engineering practices.
