Bombora, Inc. in New York, NY seeks a VP of Engineering to lead Software, Data, and Analytics teams, driving the product vision and operations.

You will report to the CTO and partner with Architecture, Data Science, and Product Management leadership to shape the technology strategy and execution. You will mentor directors and managers, define SDLC improvements, and ensure secure, scalable delivery of AI-driven initiatives.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience leading technical teams in fast-growth environments.
• Experience in ad-tech and highly scaled data systems is a plus.
• Collaborates with Product, GTM, and Success teams to achieve holistic goals.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern development frameworks.
• Experience evolving development methodologies to optimize velocity and quality.
• Excellent communication skills in a distributed workforce.
• Experience with organizational development, planning, and budgeting.
• Experience with technical due diligence and M&A activities is a plus.
• Curiosity, humility, and a sense of humor; loves a challenge.

• Structures tooling and assets for AI-effectiveness while maintaining quality and career paths for engineers.
• Evolves SDLC methods in collaboration with Product Management to meet AI-enabled needs.
• Contributes to Bombora’s technology strategy and initiates initiatives that drive business outcomes.
• Maintains technical proximity through reviews, analyses, and hands-on participation.
• Establishes and enforces engineering practices and security measures for safe operations.
• Fosters a collaborative environment emphasizing autonomy, transparency, adaptability, accountability, and ownership.
• Inspires and mentors technical directors and managers.
• Ensures staffing and organization decisions align with Bombora’s plan and vision.
• Communicates objectives, priorities, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders with transparency.
