Steg.AI is seeking a visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead the technology team in Irvine, CA. You will define the tech roadmap, hire top engineers and scientists, and ensure the development of cutting-edge watermarking technologies across Web and SDK platforms.

The role requires a Ph.D. in computer vision/ML and a strong track record in software engineering leadership, cloud deployment, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers and scientists.
• 5+ years of experience as a research scientist or software engineer.
• Ph.D. in computer vision and machine learning.
• Experience deploying machine learning models to customers via cloud platforms.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology team at Steg.AI.
• Define, own, and communicate the technology roadmap.
• Hire and manage engineers and scientists to build watermarking tech and deliver to customers.
• Work with customers to ensure products meet business needs.
• Write code across the full stack to improve Steg.AI products.
• Communicate plans and results at company and board meetings.
• Demo products in customer meetings and at trade shows.
