Job summary
Aquatic Informatics, a Veralto company, seeks a VP of Software Engineering to lead AQI’s software engineering org and define the architectural and platform strategy enabling the product roadmap. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on engagement, unblocking teams, and accelerating delivery across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem solutions.
The role reports to senior leadership and requires a track record of modernizing software, driving AI-enabled capabilities, and delivering high‑quality
Qualifications
- 15+ years in software engineering, with leadership experience
- Experience leading leaders in large-scale orgs
- Strong depth in cloud-native and on-prem platforms, Azure and AWS
- Track record of accelerating delivery and improving quality
- Mission-driven mindset aligned with water data & analytics
Responsibilities
- Define and execute architecture and platform strategy with Product Management
- Lead a distributed engineering org of 60–80 people across regions
- Modernize legacy platforms, support cloud/hybrid/on-prem environments
- Accelerate delivery while maintaining security, reliability, and impact
- Establish engineering excellence through Agile, DevOps, governance, prioritization
- Leverage AI for coding and development acceleration
- Coach and inspire engineering leaders to foster a collaborative culture
