Job summary

Bombora seeks a Vice President of Engineering to drive the implementation of our product vision and lead Software, Data Engineering, and Analytics. Reporting to the CTO, this role partners with Architecture, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals.

You will shape engineering practices, mentor directors and managers, and champion autonomous, transparent teams while balancing staffing, priorities, and risk in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technical teams in fast‑growing environments.
• Experience in ad‑tech and highly scaled data systems.
• Extensive collaboration with Product, GTM, and Success teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop goals and guide projects, operations, and systems.
• Drive velocity and value delivery across Bombora's ecosystem.
• Structure tooling and assets for AI‑effectiveness while maintaining quality and career paths.
• Lead evolution of SDLC methods to meet applied AI needs across processes.
• Contribute to Bombora’s technology strategy and advocate initiatives for long‑term value.
• Maintain technical proximity through reviews and analyses at detailed and macro levels.
• Establish engineering practices and security measures for safe operations.
• Foster autonomous, transparent, adaptable, and ownership‑driven teams.
• Inspire and mentor engineers, directors, and managers.
• Ensure staffing, development, and organization align with business goals.
• Provide transparent, metrics‑driven communications about success and gaps.
