Job summary

Alameda County Community Food Bank is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead the organization’s fundraising strategy with a focus on justice-centered fundraising and donor relationship building. You will guide a diverse team, drive collaboration, and innovate fundraising practices to support ACCFB’s mission of solving hunger and advancing equity.

The VPD will report to the Executive Director and Head of Strategy Implementation, shaping Development’s priorities and engaging key donors

Qualifications

• Executive-level fundraising leadership
• Experience managing a multi-function development team
• Ability to set and manage multi-million-dollar revenue targets
• Comfort leading equity/justice in fundraising

Responsibilities

• Assess and optimize ACCFB’s development functions and staff across major gifts, grants, annual fund, and community engagement
• Lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement with corporate, foundation, and individual donors
• Represent ACCFB in leadership spaces and collaborate with senior leaders to advance Vision 2030
